Lately, I’ve been hiking at sunrise. Why? Because I’m in the southeastern United States where it’s hot and humid.
Sunrise is apparently the ‘time of deer’ and the deer in my neck of the woods are not afraid of a human with a camera. Here are a few photos over the past week. Enjoy.

As a child, N. R. Tucker wrote short stories about magical places to escape the perceived boredom of life in a small town. As she grew, the stories and worlds expanded.
N. R. writes a fantasy series, the Farseen Chronicles, and a science fiction series, Finding Earth. Her website includes flash fiction, maps, and other information about the worlds of her mind. When she's not writing, she's hiking and sometimes posts info on her travels.
