Back in February, I went to Pinterest to pull up a recipe my family likes and I got sidetracked with a reading challenge. Between life, my day job and working on my books, I haven’t had time to read… which is sad, as it’s my favorite hobby. I have no clue where I’m going to find the time to do this but it’s a goal I’ve set for myself in 2015. I even convinced a couple of friends and family to take the journey with me.
If you’re interested, check out this 2015 Reading Challenge. There are fifty reading tasks for this challenge and some of them will be a challenge for me as the requirements will take me outside of my personal tastes.
I’m pleased to say I’m ahead of the 4 books per month requirement (if one’s goal is to spread out the reading over the full twelve months) and I’ve identified the books I will be reading for all categories. It’s amazing what a little focus can produce for a fast reader. But the best part is I feel rejuvenated, having lost myself in someone else’s stories for a while.

Hi,
I agree with what you wrote. So many writers write about what they read. I don’t know how they/you have time.
Thank you for “liking” my post and following my blog.
Nice to meet you.
